Our CEO Jackie started her journey with Parent Network Scotland in 1994 where she was introduced to the programme working as a Community Development Worker in Drumchapel. As a fully trained facilitator and trainer at PNS she knows the importance of family life and is a firm believer in building strong positive relationships and building confidence and skills for parents no matter what the circumstance are.
Jackie’s background is in Community Development and she has had the experience of living and working in Glasgow, Northumberland and Brixton, London. With experience in facilitation, coaching and training Jackie has used these skills to build positive relationships with both parents in the community and funders.
Jackie has previously been awarded a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship and was also a finalist in the Causeway Awards for Innovative Business Leader.
Jackie’s passion is reaching out to as many families as possible and helping them build powerful, positive relationships with their children and the community around them. A firm believer in supporting others to reach their potential she has developed a programme at Parent Network Scotland to support this belief. “Parents are our greatest asset and ally when it comes to changing the lives of their children, don’t underestimate the influence they have nor the drive to do so”.
