Parents Learning

Parents Learning From Parents

"The facilitator was a parent too - not an authoritative figure sitting at a desk and chair at the front"

We learn from each other

Parent Network Scotland is run by parents for parents. All our courses are run by parents who have been course-members themselves before they trained to become Parent Network Scotland facilitators.

We won't tell you what to do

Parent Network Scotland will not tell you what you ought to do as a parent or blame you for doing things wrong. Our aim is to offer you new skills and support so that you can get on better with your children - in your own way.

Parents are experts on their own children

One thing our courses are about is pooling that expertise.

Testimonials

"I got a chance to reflect on being a parent. Some space to get new perspectives, which makes me refreshed for dealing with my kids."

"I thought my child was the only one who behaved like that."

"I'm not the only one out there banging their head against a brick wall!"
